ICAS was founded in 1956 from an ambitious idea of Cav. Bruno Getto: at the special request of the first Italian sparkling wine producers, he designed and developed a high-precision automatic machine to industrialize the production of wire hoods, which until then had been produced manually.  Over the years, thanks to the development of the technologies used and the continuous expansion of the markets, the ICAS distribution network grew, and the company soon became the world's leading manufacturer of wire hoods.
 

In order to respond to the increasing market demand, ICAS continues to invest in research and development, patents, technologies and innovation. Co-design, quality and service are characteristic factors that make ICAS the reference supplier for the luxury market.
